The ship was considered to be bringing priceless treasures acquired from Melaka. Good thing, such items were salvaged and their emblematic significance to the heritage of Melaka can presently be acknowledged. Visitors can have a closer check at the maritime history of Melaka through the Maritime Museum. The exhibits are inclusive of mixed artefacts from 14th century Malay Sultanate to British, Portuguese and Dutch eras.
